London 2016: Day 3 (4/3/2016)

After some intensive walking day around Westminster, we decided to slow down for the day. We had late breakfast at home and headed to Bond Street for some shopping. Nothing much in our plan because we are saving our energy for the next day Bicester Village day trip.
I love the Covent Garden Soup Co. soups...
After our late lunch and got ready to go out, it was already in the noon. We walked to Canary Wharf station to get to Bond Street at around 1.00PM. The timing was nice for us to experience the busy lunch hour of the financial district here.
Check out the queue for lunch - the working life that soon I will be back again... :(
In no time, we reach Bond Street via the Jubilee Line.

Bond street again!
I am glad that it was a sunny day - so good to walk around in the city with this weather
Can see Selfridges and Primark paper bags everywhere here...
Blue sky and white clouds but it is not hot at all to walk around. Few days ago when I was still in KL, same blue sky and white cloud but it was 37 Celsius...
During my visit this time in the city, I saw a lots of renovation and refurbishment of buildings everywhere. Not to mention, the road constructions around the town area too. Good maintenance for these old buildings, that's London.
Okay, nothing much for the day. Just got to get some good deals from the shops here. We then went back to Waitrose to buy some food for dinner! Yumilicious!!!
Next: Bicester Village here we come!

London 2016: Day 2 (3/3/2016)

After a good rest, we started our own walking tour at Westminster. This route for walking tour is very popular among tourist. After breakfast at home, we walked to Canary Wharf to take the Jubilee Line Underground and stopped at the Westminster station.
A beautiful morning at Canary Wharf
A working day, and after lunch...nice and quiet
Yeah, good to be back!
Okay, people walk very fast in London and at the escalator. Got to get used to this again: stand on the right hand side if not walking up the escalator., opposite side in Malaysia.
Once got out from the Westminster station, its time to enjoy the few most popular landmark such as the London Eye (Millennium Ferries Wheel), Big Ben of the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, and we walked down to the Downing Street to see the Prime Minister residence and other government official rooms and offices.

After that, we went to the Horse Guards and managed to catch the dismounting ceremony at 4.00PM.
The dismounting ceremony begins...

We continue our walk at the St. James Park. This is the most beautiful things to do in life, relaxing while enjoying the nature in the city of London.
A very beautiful neighbourhood :)
Later in the evening, my bother-in-law took us to Chiswick House Garden to visit the Magical Lantern Festival. More pictures on Choegraphy > Click Here<

A very interesting day 1, burnt lots of calories but still feeling energetic!

Day 2 coming up!

London 2016 Trip: Day 1 (2/3/2016)

It's London again. After the disappointment last year December when I broke my elbow, I can now utilise my tickets again to London. However, this trip will be the end of my long break from work.
The Malaysia Airlines MH004 flight (A380) we took were on time, departed at sharp at 10.10AM. We got good seat and the crew members were so nice and friendly. It was an enjoying journey to London.
About 30 minutes after took off from KLIA - feel so excited

Chicken Pasta in the Luxury biscuits ;)
The in-flight entertainment was great. I get to watch Star Wars: The Force Awaken again and again during my long journey...Sorry Han Solo, you have to die again and again in the hand of your beloved son...
Half way in the sky!
And then, we landed safely! Good journey with MH004
Finally, I am back again!
Yay!!! check out at Heathrow!!!

Heathrow International Airport Terminal 4: this place is always busy - maybe it is just a small terminal :)
Travelling from Heathrow to any part of London is so convenient. Just walk to the Terminal 4 Tube (The Underground) station and you can go anywhere you want - 'mind the gap'!
The Underground!
Day 1 is always tiring but the excitement is at peak!!!
