A(H1N1) Influenza - Why Now?
Today, more cases has been reported and M'sia now is having more than 60 cases where 2 of the cases were local transmission. Why there is a pandemic now? Aren't we have enough trouble? Riots, terrorist, economic crisis, haze,..etc. How can we digest all these?
No doubt, in this century, we are able to learn a lot of scientific terms from the diseases (H1N1); types of bombs used by terrorists, definition of nuclear weapons and even natural disaster terms such as Tsunami. Is it better for us not to know about all these? Even we can understand all these and we know that it is happening around us, what can we do about it? Does this means we have to be more rationale? Does this mean we have to learn to accept death?
Even we know that we are now having global warming as our world issue but what can we really do? Only certain people in some countries really concern with the global warming issue and even within this group of people, only some will try their best to comply with the steps to reduce it. Most of us have to live on with our normal life and every single thing we do, might create global warming. Just like me, now typing on these...am I now contributing to global warming.
End of the day, does this mean we have to go back in time and live like a barbarian. Do we need civilization, since we all are the product of civilization. Maybe one day, we all will be wipe out just like the dinasours. Hmm.. maybe there was once where the dinasours becomes civilized and did the same thing like us, created global warming or create the environment that breeds viruses. Seems like we are no better than animals, since we all are just another category of the animals.
Lets put some thought on these questions and think careful the purpose of our existence. I'm thinking now....
